Do you think Laptop owners are less likely to backup their Data?

Yes since laptop user have no need for thumbdrive, CDs or DVDs, Ext. Drives, etc for transferring their files from place to place since their data is always with the user on the laptop, but desktop users need to copy their files to an ext. drive to paste their data on another computer.

Well, If a desktop user never leaves the house with their files, they probably won't copt files on to a ext drive to work on it at another computer.

I don't own a laptop, so my Homework is usually on three or more drives. My thumb drive, the school's network drive, the school's computer internal drive, my home desktop drive, and sometimes My external drives when I do my weekly back ups.

I hate redoing homework that I already did, but lost somehow.

Neh essay and all that stuff are usually in my email since i have to email it to myself to print it at school/ at another computer with a printer.

But other stuff like music and what not, i thought some laptops came with a Data (D:/) drive?

Sometimes Laptop and desktop PC makers make an extra few Partitions which are like virtual hard drives that the operating system think are real Hard drives, but are actually located on the same hard drives.

My D:/ drive is my Recovery partition.

The more expensive Laptops come with two hard drives.

But, I think it still better to back up important files at home, online, school and work since Laptops and desktops can get lost....
