Do registry cleaners, Operating tweakers and other software tool work on speeding up a PC?

Post by froggyboy604 »

I think the PC optimization tools work if they turn off services like remote registry, windows defender, windows firewall, and other non-essential services. Decrappifiers work for getting rid of all those trial software that come with store bought PC made by Dell, sony, lenovo, etc.

I'm not too sure about software programs that claim to speed up a computer by cleaning the registry because I don't see a huge difference when I use a registry program.

CCleaner deletesuseless files and it give me back a few mb of space, so it works.

I still think the best way to speed up a PC is to install more RAM, a faster CPU, and videocard.

certain optimisations do speed up a PC not HUGELY but they do add performance to an already flagging system.
