I would be curious to see what your forum would look like with a white background instead of the dark yellow.

I feel that green skin should not be used as a default as skins that bright tend to drive people away.

Bright?!
fact is you can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time
the theme is not bright but not dark.
Dark themes put together poorly can drive people away must more efficiently than even the brightest of themes

I don't really find this theme bright, but my monitor brightness is not set very high.
I find this forum to be a pastel like colour.
I remember when we used the default phpbb skin. A lot of people said it was too dull. Anyways, I believe if there are a lot of good content people will stay.

I can reword it to please you. too bright of a color to read the forum for very long.
