Yes, I think people who lost their jobs don't really care about buying a new car or whatever that looks good in an ADs since they don't have a jobs anymore.

I think it is more because products from ads are well known to be falsly advertised. I do not think it has anything to do with the individuals money sitiation.

I don't think the economy has nothing to do with it. Just depends on their finical situation.
