Do you think the term manly is not very accurate these days?

Somewhat since there are more men these days who can not protect themselves very well when being attacked by another person or animals. Plus, more and more men can not do tasks that require a lot of heavy lifting for an extended amount of time.
Plus, I feel a lot of men these days hide behind their toys ("Gold Jewellery, Nice Cars, Expensive Electronics, over priced stuff") to make themself look more masculine then they really are. If you take away their things, there is not a lot to look at.

well this is a weird topic, but yeah. about 50-100 years ago a guy could go out, chop down a tree. and carry it back with his bare hands. but now, meh. I for one am not as strong as I like to be but I could care less.

It's a term i'm familiar with, it's a term that still applies today just to ALOT fewer men,
most men now are pussywhipped metro's who need a good kick in there fashion conscious nut sack. MOST men now are wayyy to effeminate.
In cities it horrendous country wise it's not to bad if you think it's a woman it usually is but cities god damn just flip a coin it's more accurate.

Yes, the men at cities and the suburbs seem to be more feminine.
I think men these days don't really have to protect their home from being invaded by groups they don't agree with like the communist, etc, so there is more time to read fashion magazine, keeping up with gossip, and looking at trends.
