A lot of inactive users on my PHPBB3 forum.

Is it something to worry about. I got about 20 inactive users who did not activate their account with e-mail vertification.

I think my Captcha code might be letting spambot register easily.

inactive users on a forum is common, and people not activating there accounts don't do that due to that feature or they didn't get their e-mail activation (might want to check on that). but spam bots joining up without a problem is a problem.

I figured out why I had so many new register on a forum I did not advertised. It is because the phpbb3 captcha code got cracked meaning bots can register on phpbb3 forums easily.

I decided to make the captcha code harder to read and see if I get as many bots.

I currently have zero new registrations from bots. I also added a required registration question, word censored, and banned words in usernames.

I hope this works if not I might need to use a better captcha program.
