How is the recession affecting poor people?

Poor people have to work harder at their job , but being paid less since the boss, and customers can't afford high prices since less people are spending cash.

Some people resort to crime when they can't make enough income to support themseleves which is sad.

Higher food and energy prices are making people becoming more hungry, cold, and hot if you live in the Tropics.

the poor were screwed before the recession and now they have no hope with the recession. it's a tough world out there and it gets harder by the day.

Agreed, the poor always seem to get screwed since once they have a little money the taxes they pay on their land, income, car, food, etc make them end up with very little left over.

Now with little left over, they have little little hope for saving enough for retirement, enough food, or entertainment.

Well slap me with a trout, how snobbish can you get "oh how is the recession affecting 'poor' people"

Well inkeeping with the tone of the thread "well they dress funny with there meager means so can't be all bad"
but it's hitting families hard, those with mortgages or large bills on a monthly basis
