Do you notice Java Applets kind of slow loading online compared to flash applets?

A lot of the time when websites have Java Applets they tend to take longer to load compared to flash applets, and php programs.

It's because JAVA is crap, and no i'm not a flash fan twat, it's a fact, Java is crap sure it has to load on EVERY application a small java game of a 100k takes nano seconds to download, and 30odd seconds for java to interpret it and load it,
