Two weeks ago, Final Fantasy VII was released on the PlayStation Network as one of the latest PS one Classics you can play on your PlayStation 3 and PSP. Since then, it's been selling like hotcakes. Today, Sony announced that the more than a decade-old RPG has been downloaded more than 100,000 times. Not only does this make it the No. 1 PSN download for the week of June 17th, it also makes it the fastest selling PS one title on the PSN.

Damn right it's popular! But I hope this screams remake to SE.

I wish they made a PS2 version that you can buy in a store. I like having the booklet, and Dis, too.
