I notice the cheaper computers with inexpensive $10 power supplys only have 20 pins on the PSU main power connector, but they use a 20 pin power supply on a motherboard that have 24 pins on the motherboard power connector port. When the PSU is plug in there are 4 empty power ports on the mobo.
The computer boots and run fine.
What is the major disadvantage of using a 20 pin PSU on a 24 pin Motherboard?
