Power comes via the USB 2.0 connection

It would be cool if it can burn Blu-rays and HD-DVDs, too. I can see shady people trying to steal this by saying, "oh, there is my Jewel Case and walking off with it", or just unpluging it and hiding it in their pocket.
This is an interesting product. You can just leave your CD in the drive not worry about not having a CD/DVD-ROM drive when you bring your media over to your friends computer.
It will be awesome if it also has is capable of playing music CDs from AA batteries, and the door is clear lika a real jewel case. The door looks kind of fragile.
