Police in central New Jersey say they've busted a burglary ring that targeted computer gaming systems such as Play Stations and Wiis.
South Brunswick police on Tuesday announced the arrests of three Franklin residents. They're searching for a fourth member of the group they dubbed the "Grinch Gang." Police believe they are responsible for more than a dozen break-ins since Nov. 1.
Police say they got a break when a burglary victim's friend noticed his screen name still being used in an online game. Detectives obtained a communication data warrant and were able to trace the electronic footprint to a home in Burlington Township.
A raid recovered the gaming system, and investigators were led to the teen suspects, who remain in custody.
