Do you think people who try to remove bad content about themselves online are just making it wrost for themselves?

Yes, if they use the media like TV, Radio, and the newspaper to spread the word on the scandalous blog post, online video, etc being false since they just gave free advertising to the blog or video.

I have to agree, if you go through the trouble of removing it someone knows there is something juicy and dirty about whatever it is you are removing and since it's the net, that one thing you want gone will be hidden somewhere else.

If you have more good content about your site, company, or yourself then people just think the person which posted the bad content is a troll. People ignore comments from trolls most of the time, so it is nothing to worry about.

unless they are bored and want something to do, then they will mess with trolls.

I usually just warn or ban trolls on my sites or report trolls to the admins/owner on other sites for trolling.
