On March 4, 2000 Sony came out with the successor to the Playstation and that successor was the PS2. So happy birthday Playstation 2 and thanks for nearly 10 years of great and grand gaming experiences!

Amazing that the PS2 still is going after 20 years. Happy Birthday PS2!

But yes, the PS2 is going strong and still have about another 2-3 years of life left.

If you include the 3rd world like countries in South America, the PS2 still be going strong there since I read the PS2 was released in 2009 in Brazil http://www.computerandvideogames.com/ar ... ?id=227806

it's hard to believe that 3rd world countries are only getting this stuff. I wonder if the PS3 will ever make it?

If the price is still so high then the PS3 won't make it considering most people in the 3rd world are poor.

I still play every once in a while. It is a fun system, that gave me a lot of fun growing up.
