Do you care about reviews for products which is paid for by the same company which made the product?

Sponsor reviews are interesting since the reviews for computer hardware and software list only the good stuff and leave out all or most of the bad stuff about a product. When they list the bad stuff, they make it sound like it is "not much" of a problem" when it really is if you have to use something everyday like a keyboard or mouse.
It is almost like watching the reviewer read from the box or website on "how great something" is.
I can understand why the reviewer does this. The reviewer gets free hardware and software "possibly money" to add content to their magazine, website, tv show, or podcast, and he does not want to stop getting free stuff or money from companies. Plus, the company will more likely promote their reviews if they write a more over glorrified review about an average or below-average product.
Giving gifts and paying websites to write good articles about a product is as bad as (Payola) paying radio stations to keep playing crappy music from record companies on the radio which is illegal.
I hate how people mention or not mention it at the end instead of the beginning of a video, blog posts, article or podcast that the product was given to them by a company. I think they do this since they know a large percentage of people do not read or watch an entire video. I mostly care more about Amazon, Ebay, and reviews where people bought the product with their own money, and will more likely give an honest opinion on the product since they have nothing to gain by writing a good or bad review about something.
