Canadians will soon have access to the streaming Netflix movie and television service currently enjoyed by Americans. The company announced its plans for the first expansion of the streaming video service beyond US borders today, with the full rollout coming this fall.

The press release says that the instant streaming will be available "via a range of consumer electronics devices capable of streaming from Netflix, as well as watching on PCs and Macs," suggesting that this will work with home consoles.

The Canadian Netflix service will be streaming only, a first for the company.

I think it can be a good deal, but I rather just subscribe to movie channels on Cable since my internet is not that fast, or reliable.

I much rather have the disks, even if it means risking getting them all messed up.

I agree I rather have the disks as well since I can bring them everywhere if I have a portable DVD player.

I agree that streaming can be unreliable compared to cable, DVD. Plus, streaming in HD is very slow for me like HD videos on Youtube.
