Do you think high link backs on site, Google pagerank and Alexa rank make human spammers more likely to spam?

Yes, I know that MXP page rank of 3 and an Alexa rank of 1,935,754. Plus, tons of link backs on the internet to Mxproject.com. I notice there are more spammers on this forum compared to the past. Plus, most of the spam which gets through seems to be generated by Humans who want a boost in the search rankings.

the more you are known the more spammers will come a knocking. It's best to set up defenses for spamming at the start of a forum or website. If the defenses aren't good enough you should move to a place that is good.

Indeed, it is best to have a good captcha, e-mail activation to prevent most spammers.

sadly, spam bots and other bad things for a PC or forum are over coming those safety features.

Indeed, I notice there seem to be a slight increase in Spambots even when MXP, has E-mail activation and captcha. I heard a math question like what is 1+1 can stop most new spambots since they can't do math in most cases.

depends on the spam bot. but one day I'm sure they will be able to over come anything.

Indeed, it would be kind of freaky if spam bots have cyborg and android like intelligence which can read and type all text correctly.
