I think it makes a website look more trustworthy since a lot of spam sites don't have a Favicon. Plus, a favicon makes a website unique.

I say all websites should have one so it's easier to find them on the bookmark tab in a browser and make them stand out on window tabs.

How important is a Favicon for a website or forum?
