how to back up MP3 player music files?

My MP3 player has been a bit glitchy of late but I doubt it will die on me. But just to be safe as I got some hard to come by music on it I want to know how I can go about backing up my music files to transfer to another MP3 player.

You can copy your MP3 files to your computer, and then paste the MP3 files on your new MP3 player.

I was looking more for a off computer storage, like a SD card maybe?

Most MP3 players use microSD cards which are a smaller version of SD cards which you can backup songs to.

You'll also might need a reader to read the micro SD card if the microSD card does not come with one.

I think I got a microSD card somewhere around my house from a past attempt of using a SD card for something.
