I think what WikiLeaks is doing is controversial and might make WL the target for US attacks on their website, but Wikileaks is devoted to spreading the truth which can also be seen as important.

wikileaks is done for. it's owner has been arrested and it has lost nearly all of it's support and financial support. they gave a good fight but it was all for nothing.
