Do you think someday TV's will have a few built-in games like Solitaire, pinball, and back gammon?

Possibly, I don't see it so hard to believe that someday TVs would have simple games like Solitaire which you can play when there is a commercial or your games on your game console is loading.

Some TVs in hotels and stuff have video game systems built in, for example the last hotel I stayed in had a Nintendo Gamecube built into the TV, and I know you can play games with satellite TV. I think in a couple years, most TVs will have some sort of game built into them even if it's just a simple game.

I wonder if TV companies do not want us to play games during TV commercials since a lot of companies like Sony, etc also produce movies and TV shows which get a lot of their earnings from TV commercials.
If no one is watching commercials, the TV show will get cancelled because advertiser won't pay as much if fewer people play videogames during commercials.

Yes, but there are a lot of people who are too cheap to buy DVR, or don't want to use one since it looks to technical. I believe the DVR can't fast forward live TV only recorded TV.
But, if you can play games in split screen mode on a TV people will play games during commercials and go back to watching live TV when there are no commercials.
