Yes, wired internet is less popular for laptops, handheld game consoles, cell phones, and small electronics.

But, I think most computers will still use wired internet unless their internet service provider switch to Wireless or Cellular Internet instead of Cable, DSL, Fiber, T3, or T1 wired internet because wireless internet is cheaper then wired internet in the future because of expensive cables.

I'm not sure about everyone else, but I would like to use wired internet. sadly my stuff is to far from my internet hook up to run wires.

Have you thought about using Powerline Networking which uses your electrical wires and a powerline adapter to connect your internet connection with a Powerline Internet Adapter attach to any electrical outlet?

I thought about using Powerline Networking, but I mostly won't use it since my computers, Xbox, and other electronics are in the same room to my Internet Modem, so I can just use wires. The only time I use Wi-Fi, is when family members come over to live in the basement once a year for 1-2 weeks for vacation, so I'm forced to use Wi-Fi since I don't really like being in a room with a lot of people since my computer is in the living room.

Yes it is. Plus, you do not have to worry about getting hacked by Wi-Fi, and lost of wireless connection since Wired internet is more stable and faster.

i prefer wired internet. i'm currently hook up through a wire for my desktop. but laptops n stuff i usually use wireless if there's not wired around. I think it's just much faster with the wire since u're getting 100 vs 54 or slower for wifi
