what would you say is the worst thing that happen to your gadget?

I drop my portable CD player on the floor, but it still worked luckily.

they seem to be making them better as I've dropped mine to the floor as well and continued to work.

I once drop my mp3 player in the toilet bowl. It was really wet that I wasn't able to use it after that even if I tried to blow dry its part.

I heard if you don't turn on your MP3 player, and put your MP3 player in a bag of rice then the rice will absorb the water and your MP3 player might be fine.
It works for cell phones, so it might work for MP3 players as well since they are kind of similar except for the buttons and phone call options on the phone.
I wouldn't recommend cooking the rice afterwards if the phone or MP3 player touch water from the bathroom...

had a pick axe go through a portable cd player, safe to say it didn't work afterwards cept as a paperweight
