Portable "Video" Media player hammered by smaller Tablets?

I can see some people buying cheaper Tablets like the Amazon Kindle Fire hammering the Microsoft Zune, iPod Touch, and other MP3 players which can play video since they are almost the same price in some stores, and many people can afford a tablet for 199.99 as long as they have jobs.

the tablet kills the whole point of easy to carry around music player. So no, I'll stick with he MP3 players.

I changed the title, and the original topic to make my topic easier to understand.

I wasn't really referring to ultra portable MP3 Players which are strictly made for MP3 listening, and maybe small photo and video viewing if it has a color LCD Screen.

I was referring to "Portable Video Players" which can also play MP3 files.

Portable Video players which can also play music like the Microsoft Zune and iPod Touch is about the same size as a smaller 3-4 inch Tablet which is a little bigger then the size of "Baseball Cards".

still wouldn't get it, I'm not a big movie fan and wouldn't be watching one on the go.

You can use the bigger screen to change songs, search for songs, and watch visualizations/animation for your song.
