Do most spammers post in the top sections of the forum?

Yes, I'm notice an increase in spammers posting in announcements, and Forum rules section which is on the top of the forums.

From what I noticed, they go for the bottom.

Indeed, they go post at the General Disscussion and offtopic sections a lot as well which are usually located at the bottom in most forums unless it is a "General Chat" forum.

and of course there are the smart asses who make posts in the official news board.
