Possibly, if the users used a Tablet, but actually needed a real keyboard for typing on instead of a touchscreen keyboard, but they'll probably just buy a bluetooth or USB keyboard for their Tablet since you can get them for 10-30+ dollars on eBay, Amazon, or online.

When users get bored of Tablet touch games, they might buy a hand held console, but there are thousands of free and cheaply priced games for Tablet, and you can now use or attach a controller to many tablets which support bluetooth.

I see people with money buying a laptop and hand held when they feel their Tablet is not fullfiling their needs while people without money will just stick with a Tablet, and buy accessories, and cheap and free gaming apps to get cheap thrills from their tablet instead of buying seperate devices which does a better job, but cost more to buy, and to own if you include software, games, and maintenance which is not free.

Yes, it will be cheaper to buy a laptop since there are a lot of used and refurbished laptops available on eBay, and stores which you can get used laptop for 100 dollars or less.

But, a new laptop is more expensive or about the same price then a new Tablet and Tablet Keyboard since there are some Tablets which cost 199 while there are some which cost 300-400+.

Indeed, people need to be careful how they spend their money by waiting for things to drop in price, or buying refurbished and used things which works.
