I use a non-Windows operating system called Ubuntu Linux 11.10 on a daily basis because I find it faster, more stable and crashes less then Windows 7 on my slower computer. It is also easier to use for doing some tasks like installing Updates, and using its file managers.

I still use Windows a few times a week for gaming, using Windows only software like Microsoft Office 2007, CdBurnerXP, printing, and scanning, and recording TV shows with my computer's USB TV Tuner card.

I learned how to type and do other things on a Mac for most of elementary school because my elementary school decided to just use Macs in the computer lab, and library, but in High School and College. It was mostly PC.
