Would the Stylus/Pen for portable screens ever die?

Post by froggyboy604 »

No, I feel the Stylus will not ever die or go away since people with shaky hands, stiff fingers and big fingers will find using a Stylus pen more useful. Clean people who hate fingerprints on their screens will also prefer a Stylus since Stylus don't have finger prints. I think a stylus might be a good way of sharing a Tablet, and screen since cleaning a Stylus's pen/shaft is easier then cleaning a screen.

People who use their touch screen to write, draw, and sketch will probably prefer a Stylus over using a fingers.

But, I think Stylus are becoming less popular with people who only use their touch screen to open files and apps or casual games who play angry birds since they are not needed for newer touchscreens which are more sensitive to a users fingers.

that won't disappear. specially since my dad has big hands and would need something like that to keep accuracy.

I agree using your fingers to draw or write is not easy, and looks bad unless you have a very steady hand and lots of patients. I also notice sometimes your palm blocks part of what you are seeing when fingerpainting.

I don't think people can every write with their fingers on a screen.

They might if the screen is huge, and their writing is very big. People can write with spray paint, but only on a huge wall, and not on a regular size of paper.

huge difference between paint and a finger. I believe using just a finger can make the text very sloppy.
