Does your youtube username effect the search results of your channel or is the channel name the most important? My channel is called Fooligans and I cant change my username now from G10662. I don't want to lose my hits but need to acquire more for my channel. Should I start again or is this not important. Any tips on naming videos and Search Engine Optimisation would be massively welcomed please.

I'm not sure, but I think as long as you have good videos, and lots of subscribers, people sharing your videos, and likes you can do fine. There are some pretty hard to remember channel names which get a lot of views because they make good videos.

It kind of does but only for the better. If someone was to search for gaming and my youtube name is gamingforce then gaming search would bring up my username.
