How many USB ports do you think a modern PC should come with?

I'm fine with 7 USB ports for my Keyboard, mouse, printer, and a few USB drives. I rarely use them all up,

There are USB hubs and Cards which you can install on a computer for people who need more USB plugs. But, a lot of stuff uses wireless Bluetooth i, so a lot things these days don't need USB except for USB flash drives, hard drives, and those TV game recorder boxes.

More things like webcams, speakers, microphones, touchpad, touchscreen, and DVRs are built-in to the computer instead of being needed to be pluged in with USB. The All-in-One Desktop PC, laptop, and tablets have most things built-in these days.

I know my teacher was saying the other day she needs a lot of USB for different things like different flash drives, external drives and plugging in her other tech stuff.
