Yes, it can be good for promotions since Facebook has a lot of users, and it is free.

depends on what you are advertising, but since it's a popular spot it is good to advertise a little.

I read advertising some things like Medicine for old people, and old people products on Facebook does not work very well because there are very few old people in their 60s-100s usings Facebook. But, for concerts, anime, movie, and pop music for teens Facebook may work.

that's common knowledge with any advertise. Only advertise what the site reflects.

But still, it's a good idea to place a ad or two for when people get older and need said medicine and care.

There are also some products mainly use by old people, but also use by young people, but some young people don't admit it like prescription shoes, and padded shoes for people with feet problems. One of my teachers also has this very expensive chair because she has back pain, but it looks like a regular chair.

It is always good to put a few ads on Facebook, and Twitter for medicine products since more young people are having problems these days because of inactive lifestyles, and a lot of the time young people buy medicine related products for old people in their family since buying canes, walkers, and adult diapers are cheaper on Amazon, and eBay.
