I know this sounds like I'm being deliberately arrogant but this is a serious question. Even from a very young age i would cringe listening to the radio, and since the super main stream was all i was ever exposed to i grew up really not liking music until i discovered classic metal, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath. From there my musical interests grew greatly now i listen to classical jazz and a lot of rock but my favorites still being Megadeth, Slayer, Iron Maiden, stuff like that and now I play guitar. I just don't understand what people see in pop music, hip-hop, anything auto-tuned. ect. It's so repetitive and for some reason the same four chord songs make it to the top of the charts every time. Why do people hate variety so much?
