PC gaming cheaper than Console gaming? Is PC gaming cheaper than console gaming? I'm not trying to start any fanboy comments so please be neutral when answering cause I really don't want to hear any of your BS comments at which is better, just give me some valid reasons how its cheaper or not.

The games are generally cheaper on PC especially when you buy during Steam Summer Sale, and other sales on Steam. PC game prices at gog.com, and Humble Bundle are pretty good as well. There are also a lot more free to play games like League of Legends, Dota 2, World of Tanks, etc for PC as well compared to consoles which have fewer free to play games. Multiplayer is also free on PC in most cases except for some titles like Final Fantasy 11, and World of Warcraft.

If you build your own Gaming PC, it can cost the same, or less than the Xbox One, PS4, or even the Wii U. A lot of newer store bought PCs are also pretty good for playing many PC titles like Team Fortress, World of Warcraft, Dota 2, League of Legends, etc, so if you have a newer desktop computer with a dual-core CPU, 4-8GB RAM, and a Nvidia 630 or similar video card you can play a lot of PC Games titles.

But, older consoles like the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and Ouya is cheaper than PC gaming because they can be bought for $79-199 and up. Although, the games will cost more, and multiplayer for the Xbox 360 is not free.

Pending if you get a custom build PC, over all gaming on PC is far cheaper without a doubt. Steam sale has left many without money.

I agree those Steam Sales left many without money since the deals are so good that people end up spending a lot of money for more games which they can play in a year or many years. Some people may also spend thousands of dollars on Steam games because they bought hundreds of $5-20 games over the years.

But, at least they always will be entertained by having hundreds of games to play, and they don't have to worry about the price of their favorite games going up since they bought them while they are on sale at Steam.

one nice thing about steam sales, they leave people a lot more games than normal means.
