Singer Jang Woo-hyuk to Release 1st Solo Album in China

Singer Jang Woo-hyuk will make his presence known in China in earnest by releasing his first solo album there. Jang will give a press interview in Beijing, China on Apr. 1 to celebrate the release of his album entitled "No More Drama."

Jang will sign a contract with Starwin Culture Communication Co., Ltd. in China before embarking on a tour of Beijing and Shanghai to promote his album from Apr. 1 to 8. He will give a press interview at the Small Hall of Shiji Theater in downtown Beijing on Apr. 1 at 2:30 p.m. in celebration of the release of his album. The press conference is expected to be attended by journalists from about 100 newspapers and magazines.

During his stay in China, Jang will attend the famous "Pepsi Music Chart Awards" ceremony as an award presenter. And as a special guest singer of the ceremony, he will sing his hit song "Unsetting Sun." The awards ceremony will be held at the Exhibition Center in Beijing, with the participation of stars from Chinese-speaking regions, such as Wang Lihong and Alan Tam.

Showcasing his songs on Apr. 4, Jang will meet his Chinese fans at the Children's Theater in Beijing. Soon afterwards, he will attend a ceremony where he will be appointed a PR ambassador for the "South Korean-Chinese Joint Venture for Future Forests." In that capacity, he will tour Shanghai and Fuzhou to promote the two countries' joint project. He is expected to return home on Apr. 8.

According to an official from Jang's agency, Chinese news organizations showed keen interest in his advance into China, saying, "Jang Woo-hyuk, a charismatic dancer of South Korea, will visit China for the first time in three years."
