No, but I taken one a part, and put it back together before which could count as building my own PC.

Naw, building your own PC is hard. There is tons of research to do and the hard work putting everything together for the first time.

I agree, there is tons of research for finding the best parts which work with other parts, and how to install all the parts into the other parts. It is also can be difficult to put everything together, and test to see if everything works.Skeithex wrote:Naw, building your own PC is hard. Re: Build your own PC
I think if you mostly use the onboard parts like onboard video, sound, networking, usb, and other parts which are already built-into some motherboard circuit boards, the time it takes to build a PC is less, but your PC will be less powerful PC since most of the parts which are built-into the motherboard are not as fast or good as standalone parts where you need to install them into a PCI slot.Skeithex wrote:I ran through the steps in a recent PC class, can easily take a few hours. There are some motherboards which even come built-in with a CPU/Processor, so you just need to add RAM, and a hard drive. You also need a power supply, and case.

some builders like to really build from scratch.
