Horror and gory, moments that make you cringe so badly or just scenes that make you go WTF!?
What do you feel is some disturbing anime?

I think Gundam Wing is pretty disturbing where soldiers control giant robots which can destroy a lot of buildings at once.
Death Note is also kind of disturbing.

I would call out Gundam wing on the whole slamming a colony into the planet more than anything.
Death note is very much disturbing yet epic.
