Recycle your tech

Do you simply throw out or seek out some place to recycle all your unused tech?

I usually recycle my old tech. I think it is against the law to dump your tech in the garbage in some places, and if you are caught, you may end up paying expensive fines, or even go to court if you dump a lot of old tech in the garbage.

I know some stores take old tech, but there are lots of large garbage dumps that you can dump stuff in without being caught.
