how far do u sit from your computer screen?

2-3 feet away from my computer monitor.

about 12-14 inches, i got very bad eyesight

^I think it's only true for CRT "those really big and heavy monitors" cuz they have some sort of a electron or whatever gun in the bulb or tube that shoots stuff at the screen to make a picture on the screen. I think if you got a LCD or plasma monitor your fine, but i think staring at something that super bright or bright isnt really good for your eyes cuz it can make your eyes dry and tired. I was watching this fobby childrens program "afterschool, I C U" on the chinese channel, and a octopus or someother cartoon animal chracter said u should atleast sit 70cm from your monitor and look away from your monitor every 30minutes, and have a 60s break, so ur eyes wont be tired.

i sit at like about 2 feet away...or my arm lengths...however long that is..
