Can u tell the difference between CD and MP3 sound quality?

not really, but i still like listening to CD when im home cuz sometimes the volume level on mp3 i download is too high or low, or some of the Mp3s i download sound crackly. too lazy to rip my cd collection to mp3s. plus, i rather listen to them on a cd player when im home.

i mostly use .wav .ape .flac .ogg when ripping nad mainly listening

and theres a HUGE difference between low bitrate mp3 (128 and below) and cd, how ever 192kbps VBR and up not a huge diff

i use mp3 only when i'm putting shares of cd's as people are often to thick to understand what the others are
