I deposit most of my cash in the bank cuz it seem to be the most secure place to store cash. Plus, im less likely to spend cash on something i dont really need. I dont usually have much cash at home except for coins mostly. The cash i have at home is usually in my wallet.
Im sort of weird i like to oranize all my cash like all the $5.00 bills are like piled up together and $10 are also piled up together in the cash pocket of my really old wallet that made of some plasticky polyester wallet material.
I used to have seperate jars for my peenies, dimes, nickels, , but now i just throw my dimes, nickels, pennies in a big metal can that my mom and dad also uses to throw their their dimes, nickels, pennies into cuz we hardly use dimes, nickels, pennies. when a few cans are full we just exchange for bills at safeway, but it charges a 15% fee which is kinda expensive, but we're all too lazy to count, roll and go to bank to exchange them. Now i only have a small change pouch for my loonies which are 1 doller coins and toonies which are two doller coins here in canada. I also have some jars full of randoms coins that are really old, foreign, or have a neat pattern on them which is rare.
