So with Intel it's pretty easy to tell which one is better since it goes by i3, i5, ect. How do you go about telling which AMD process is better than the others?

I mainly read online reviews to see which AMD processors are fast enough to play newer games, and use big programs like video editors.
I think the most expensive AMD processors with higher speeds like 4 GHz are usually the best. I think the AMD Ryzen CPU is currently the best CPU models.
AMD processors which use the most power like 95 Watts are usually faster, but use more electricity.

How would you go about comparing them to intel's series. Like knowing which AMD lined up to be a low end i3 or a high end i7?

I think there are websites for comparing many CPUs.
I mainly just read CPU reviews on websites, and they usually have line graphs, and tables on which CPUs are faster, and slowers.

I really don't like the difference in names, I wish they go by something that is very similar.

The AMD Ryzen CPUs also has numbers at the end like AMD Ryzen 7 is fastest and Ryzen 5 is not as fast as Ryzen 7. Ryzen 3 CPU is the slowest.
