I heard OnePlus is a pretty good brand. You can also check out Micromax which is another brand you can find in India. Nokia phones also look good.

I think Lenovo uses the Motorola brand to sell smartphones as well since Lenovo bought the Motorola brand name from Google who bought Motorola from the original owners of Motorola.

I think Lenovo only bought IBM's PC and x86 Server companies, and only bought the mobile smartphone/tablet department from Google.

Lenovo maybe able to get a large loan of money from a bank and governments, and slowly payback the money to the bank, or Chinese government. A lot of big companies borrow money, so they have more money to spend on inventing new products, and hiring more skilled workers who will help them make more money in the future by inventing new products and doing tech support where users need to pay for repairs and tech help.
