At least, the internet makes it easierto contact the store to see if a battery is in stock before going to the store.

I feel it can be a good idea to e-mail, call, or text a store employee to see if they can hold onto the battery, so no one can buy it before you arrive at the store, andd make sure it is actually in stock.

Some places do that, others won't if the item is way too popular.

It is too bad that companies sometimes don't make enough computer parts like video cards, so most buyers can buy the part more easily.

I imagine there would be fewer scalpers who sell parts for more money if there are more parts being made.
