I think fan grills may help with having a PC fan from getting clogged with cooking oil in the air if you usr your PC in a kitchen or near a restaurant with oily air.

True, it can really help with that, or in a pet clinic where there is lots of hair in the air.

I wonder if some fan grills csn make fans not as loud.

I think it stifles the sound much, but most just use simple mesh.

I think fans which are attach to plastic plexiglass windows on some Desktop PC may run quietwr.

It should at least keep it stable to not rattle around and make a lot of noise.

That is true, plastic seemscto rattle less than metal.
