Just a heads-up to all of our Puritan Gizmodo readers: 58-year-old Chicago native Jeanette Strowder confessed to shooting and killing her boyfriend, Jesse Martin, after finding his stash of porn stored on CDs. We initially assumed that the CDs must have contained some really freaky content to warrant the response, or at least some juicy ex-girlfriend shots, but apparently it was a (standard?) collection of "nude photographs of women."
On an entirely unrelated, lighter note, Gizmodo is naming today National Make Space On Your Hard Drive Day. Because one can never have too many free gigabytes on the old computer. For Word documents. And MP3 files. No siree Bob. [chicagosuntimes via dvorakuncensored]
Poor guy. His girl friend over reacted. Well, he probably should of been honest about his love obsession with porn, and maybe he could of spared his life, or had her psycho girl friend kill him earlier. Horrible way to die.
^I feel the same way. He should of hid his stash of porn cds better.
He should of password encrypted the files with a password that no average person can think of like "Ihatewatchingporn7Daysaweek365daysaWeek" , but he probably forget the password. maybe even a simple password like "mygirlfriendistheloveofmylife" would work at preventing himself from someone finding his stash of porn.
Maybe if he labeled the CDs "Tax returns, Applications, or some other non-interesting name" he still be alive today.
aye maybe, but it's one less idiot on the planet, in a positive respect, and maybe others will learn from his mistake, ie letting your unhinged deranged girlfriend finding your porn stash is a good reason to get the hell out quick
