Since they have to dig and then build, yeah that would be a month or two of noise and vibrations.

I feel it may take many years for some datacenters to get built, so the construction noise will be around for a long time.

It does, I read that areas they are being built at are already being looted.

I imagine a lot of people don't want looters to be around their homes which are close to the datacenters. Some of the looters may also steal people's cars and bicycles, and heavy duty metal and plastic boxes, so they can carry the copper wiring which they stole from the datacenters.

Yeah, increased robbery makes a whole neighborhood look bad and drop home price values.

I feel it can also be dangerous if the looters also carry weapons while looting.
