I'm not really sure. I just type something.

A person who is broke as someone who spent or lost all their money somehow like spending it all on a expensive europeon car like a Aston Martin, TVR, Ferarrari, Lamborghni, Bugatti, etc.

A person who is poor is someone who have little possessions and money.

Broke is a temporary lack of money,

Poor is a constant lack of money
I never really understood Thursdays.

Broke means that you still live in a house and stuff. Poor means that you're on the streets or live in a shelter
