What is the lifespan of a typical usbflash drive?

Post by froggyboy604 »

I have no idea since some of those flash drive have fragile metal plugs that can get bent if the user accidently bends it somehow. Plus, some flash drive have cheap plastic casing.

I say 1 year or less if someone use the same drive for 365 days a year.

I once knew a person that broke her flash drive by pluging it in and out of the computer constantly. She had it for half a year and it cost her like $50 or something like that for 2 GB.

Not all flash drives are fragile just the ones that are poorly designed and manufactuered. It's better to get advice from people who owned flash drives that lasted a long time instead of just buying a random flash drive.
