My boyfriend called her bubblegum but I do not think so. She is so far from bubblegum. Opinion?

She writes and co-writes her own songs. Plus, Bubblegum is more related to american pop music then Country music. Her lyrics are more stronger and emotional then most pop songs. Her song ``Teardrops on my Guitar`` was kind of sad because she likes a boy, but the boy already likes another girl, but she have to pretend she is fine when she is in front of the guy. It reminds me of some of my experiences with girls though I wasn`t as emotional as crying on a guitar about a person I like.

I think she is being stereatyped as bubblegum because she is young, and blonde.

Bubblegum is more like OOO, I like a boy. I hope he phones me up, and pick me up in his new sports car and go watch a movie.

Yes it is very silly. I think the song is meant to be a satrical/sarcastic view of how some people live in the USA since Barbie is a US product.
