^or people act like they didn't see anything is going on. The bar tender probably went to hide somewhere or didn't care.

I think in the US there was a car jacker who was beating up a senior citizen for his car, and the bystanders just act like nothing is happening. People don't want to get involve because they are afraid the criminal has a weapon.

Well, having a weapon explains it..it's almost suicide jumping in unarmed. But at least then someone would call the police.

I don't understand why people are so selfish like that. I mean, I wouldn't jump infront of a freaking bus for a stranger or anything, but I'd at least do anything to get help. I would have phone in hand dialing 911 in two seconds if I saw something like that.. how can people just watch somone be dragged off like that and act like nothing happened. They don't know what his intention is, for all they know he wants to kill her. But they're to busy with their beer to notice.

But if I were that woman, I'd get the first object I could find and hit him upside the head with it. I don't care if hes my husband, no husband of mine would ever do that. He'd be out of my house that night, and all of his belongings would be in the fire pit, on fire when he got home.

It's better to go out with friends since if something happens your friends come to your rescue, or call for help if they don't, they are not really your friends.

But, it is best to know Karate, carry something for self-defense like a small Billy Club since people can't always rely on other people.

Actually it's called the bystander affect, we all do it. That's why in first aid classes you gotta be specific for help. You can't just shout HELP HELP! because people will think that some one else will help them and that's why they don't react. I don't think it would be considered selfish, if it is then everyone on this damned planet is selfish.

I watch something on TV where a Hot Woman dressed up as a fat ugly woman, and very few people help her when she fell down, but when she dress in sexy clothing more guys help her when she needed it.
